INSIDE THE ACADEMY

At the Academy, we are passionate about music and the handpan and we share our love for this instrument in a warm, welcoming and open-hearted environment. Our teachers are well-established performing artists with varied musical paths and life stories. Our teaching approach is based on exploring the handpan intuitively and guiding everyone to find their own way with this beautiful instrument, sharing a range of techniques and tools while nurturing individual creativity.

We are very fortunate to be nested in the Meridian Handpans workshop, so we can learn and play music with high-quality instruments, experiment with different scales, explore the different moods of various handpans and have a sneak peak into the maker's workshop.
