Residential immersion weekend filled with handpan music, jamming, learning, and connecting with the community surrounded by apple trees, meadows and horses! Hosted by Amy Naylor and Marketa. Dates & Location: Beautiful farm near Tiverton, Devon (EX16 8LS) Arrival: Friday June 12th 5pm - 6pm Departure: Monday June 15th morning What to expect: ~ intimate event - max 15 participants ~ morning & evening handpan sessions with Amy & Marketa ~ guided jams ~ breath work & creative sessions ~ evening concert / open mic ~ free flow music ~ fully catered weekend (breakfast, lunch & dinner - all home cooked, vegetarian) ~ everyone is invited to pitch their tents in the farm orchard, park their camper van on site or book with one of the many local b&b nearby (Tiverton) What you will learn: ~ Deeper understanding of handpan music ~ New grooves, melodies and techniques ~ Composition, improvisation and jamming skills Plus: ~ Have space to practice & get 1-1 guidance ~ Connect & jam with the handpan community ~ Intimate concert by Amy Naylor and Marketa ~ Open mic Who is this for? This event is open to everyone who already has a basic understanding of playing the handpan. Ideally, you already own a handpan to bring along, but please get in touch if you'd like to borrow a D Kurd (sessions will be mainly D Kurd focussed, but there will also be time and space to explore your own scale). All levels of ability are welcome and will be honoured, whether you are just starting on your handpan journey or you've already been playing for a long time.
